Teaching plan
Jesus was treated unfairly by everyone. But this was God’s plan to make it possible for us (sinners) to be friends with him.
Scenes:
vv15-26: Jesus before Pilate, Barabbas or Jesus, increasing uproar.
vv27-31: Mocked by the soldiers
vv32-44: Crucifixion
vv45-56: Death
vv57-61: Burial
Game: matching pairs
Cards with various characters: Pilate, Barabbas, High Priests etc. Plus blanks and a couple of crosses. Cross is a wild card so matches with anything. First team / individual to get all pairs wins.
