- what is God? (Holy)
- what is His plan (rescue Israelites from Egypt)
- Moses 5 problems (excuses?) :
- 3:11 unworthy (but god is worthy),
- 3:13 didn’t know who God is (I am [unchanging], God of Abraham… would already be familiar to Israelites)
- 4:1 afraid Israelites would not believe him (2 signs)
- 4:10 didn’t speak well (God’s message, He will teach Moses)
- 4:13 “please send someone else” (God was cross but nonetheless provided Aaron for moral support)

How were they treated? [Whipped, mocked, insulted and crucified (27:26, 28-29, 38-39)]
Who was treated better than they deserved? [Barabbas, a rebel and criminal (27:16, 26)]
Teaching plan
Jesus was treated unfairly by everyone. But this was God’s plan to make it possible for us (sinners) to be friends with him.
